Description
Bright and crisp, this refreshing white wine pays tribute to the heritage and culture of the original French settlers of Louisiana. The grapes were picked in the early morning of September 9th from Las Brisas Vineyard in the Los Carneros region of Sonoma and were fermented using native yeasts, then aged sur lees in stainless steel. In the glass, the wine has a pale straw color. Aromas of grapefruit, honeydew melon, and nectarine are complemented with lemon zest and river rocks. It has a light refreshing mouthfeel with a bright finish.

95 Points Bonfort’s Wine and Spirits Journal: “At first nose, we were greatly surprised and impressed by the beautiful and continuous fruitiness of the Albariño. In our mind, this is equal to some of the finest albariño made in Spain or Portugal but surprisingly made in Sonoma Valley. Immensely refreshing, with expertly refined acidity, rich mouthfeel, and coating with more ripe fruit on the palate and a slightly saline finish. Well done and a great find.”
