2022 Celebration Cabernet Franc

In New Orleans, any occasion is a reason to party and that is what our Celebration Cabernet Franc embodies. The grapes were hand-harvested overnight on September 12th from the Shifflett Ranch Vineyard in Oak Knoll. The grapes were then hand-sorted and fermented in small batches to ensure optimal quality. They were later blended with Merlot from Mt Veeder to provide a more balanced and elegant wine. In the glass, the wine has a deep ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, chocolate, and tobacco are supported by plum, cherry, and other red fruits while the bright acidity and smooth tannins provide a rich and powerful mouthfeel that lingers.
